"Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones,
We see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world,
Are the ones who do."
The one-minute commercial featured black and white video footage of significant historical people of the past which are mostly Steve Jobs' heroes. They include Albert Einstein, Bob Dylan, Martin Luther King, Jr., Richard Branson, John Lennon, R. Buckminster Fuller, Thomas Edison, Muhammad Ali, Ted Turner, Maria Callas, Mahatma Gandhi, Amelia Earhart, Alfred Hitchcock, Martha Graham, Jim Henson (with Kermit the Frog), Frank Lloyd Wright, and Picasso.

I have a confession to make. I was not an Apple fan. Yes, their products are phenomenal no doubt but I was not one of those who embrace it in a cultish sort of way. But knowing one's history, especially that of Apple and Steve Jobs can sure change one's mind.
I am currently reading Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. I'm only half-way done but the book has made a believer out of me. I knew I was in too deep when I encountered the part with the "Think Different" campaign. I read the slogan and it engages and connects with you with unparalleled precision. It tugs at something deep within. It put into words what I secretly dream and longed to do. I was sold.
So, I say let's be crazy
Be not hazy
To rebel not follow
Go against the flow
Think outside the box
To be cunning like a fox
Change the norms
Never mold with the forms
Believe the impossible
For we are responsible
If we want one heck of a future
Rise above the culture
Of mediocrity
and inferiority
Dare to think we can
For the sake of every man
Yes, we can change the world.
